Some wedding stories stay with you long after the day is over, and Victoria & Ben’s wedding was certainly one of them.
Originally planned to take place in Dorset - a place that held real meaning for the couple - their plans sadly had to change. Instead, the wedding was reorganised closer to home on the east coast in Whitstable, Kent.
While the location may have changed, the heart of the day never did.
The ceremony and evening celebrations were held at the beautiful East Quay Venue in Whitstable, a waterfront setting full of character and atmosphere. Surrounded by family and close friends, the entire day felt incredibly personal, emotional, and full of genuine connection.
As a Kent wedding videographer, it’s always an honour to document weddings like this because they remind you what the day is truly about. Beyond simply filming a wedding day, creating cinematic wedding films is about capturing genuine emotion, connection, and the atmosphere that makes every celebration unique. Beyond the planning, timelines, and details, weddings are ultimately about people coming together to support and celebrate one another.
From the emotional moments during the ceremony to the laughter throughout the evening, there was such a strong sense of warmth surrounding the entire day. Victoria & Ben embraced every moment with positivity, creating an atmosphere that felt relaxed, heartfelt, and completely authentic.
As a wedding videographer in Whitstable, locations like East Quay Venue offer an incredible backdrop for natural and story-driven filmmaking. The coastal setting, soft natural light, and laid-back seaside atmosphere perfectly complemented the tone of the day and helped create a timeless, cinematic feel throughout the footage.
Capturing genuine moments and real emotion is always at the centre of my approach to wedding filmmaking, whether I’m filming weddings in Kent, Dorset, or elsewhere across the UK. Victoria & Ben’s day was a perfect example of why those authentic moments matter so much. It was a privilege to be part of such a meaningful celebration and to help tell Victoria & Ben’s story through film.
Although I’m a Dorset based wedding videographer, I regularly travel across the UK to capture weddings like this one in Whitstable, Kent. If you’re planning your wedding at East Quay Venue, elsewhere in Whitstable, across Kent, Dorset, or anywhere in the UK and are looking for natural, cinematic wedding videography focused on authentic storytelling, feel free to get in touch.
